Somerset West Dental is a fee for service practice, which means that after each visit the account for that day is settled. After the initial consultation, a cost estimate is provided for each patient. Patients can then submit the estimate to their medical insurers for authorisation; this will let them know which portion of the services will be covered by their insurer. Please note that patients are always responsible for their accounts, irrespective of whether or not their insurers reimburse them.
Our rates are very competitive in the area and will not break the bank.
We are closed on public holidays, however, Dr. Tjaart Kruger is always available for emergencies. If need need urgent dental care during a public holiday, call our after-hours number at 082 568 5493.
Pain is usually not “normal”. Discomfort is common after certain types of treatment, but pain needs to be investigated.
